I find this to be completely irrelevant.
I don’t mean that offensively.
I just mean, there’s someone for everyone. Some people like stick figures, some people like curves, and there are people who prefer even bigger. That disproves that we only find what society deems beautiful to be attractive.
That goes for everything else, too. Style, race, gender.
It truly doesn’t matter.
Things like this picture put the fault on advertising and society or government rather than accepting the fact that people don’t have to like everyone. There is no fault in discriminating in who you find pleasing. That’s your choice.
The people who let that bother them already have self esteem issues. It’s a vicious cycle, but it’s not the cause of insecurity.
